These are tools for modding the game - some are original programs which only work on a XP 32bit system - you can run them using VMWare Pro. There have been some modern alternatives created that do a similar job.

Interplay DAT Tool - Contains utilities for extraction and creation of the Interplay DAT format archives used by Klingon Academy. There is a modern analog of this now DAT Decompressor. This is where any mod starts as it extract the editable game files from the game archive.
Interplay MVE Tool - Contains utilities for creation of the Interplay MVE format video files used by Klingon Academy. No modern equivalent.
Interplay Palette Tool - Contains utilities for creation of the Interplay pallette files used by Klingon Academy. Untested modern equivalent Palette Tutorial.
Interplay Sound Tool - Contains utilities for creation of the Interplay ACM format sound files used by Klingon Academy. No modern equivalent.

Klingon Academy AI Trainer - This contains a specially compiled version of Klingon Academy 1.02 and an AI training script to allow it to save the resulting ship AI files.
Klingon Academy Mission Compiler Source Code - Source code for "compile.exe" found in the Klingon Academy Scripting Package, file included here for archival reasons only. Would need equivalent C complier for 2000 to compile.
